We're now on the shores of Lake Bohinj, 60km to the north east of Ljubljana.

Lake Bohinj

Lake Bohinj is just up the valley from the much more popular (and crowded) Lake Bled, and is certainly worth a visit.

Walk Up To Waterfall at Savica

Above the head of the lake there is a lovely woodlkand walk up to the waterfalls.

Savica Waterfall

When in full spate (as the snows melt), water gushes the full length of the cliffs, but during the summer it just emerges through the lower reaches.
